Terms of service
The short version: everything here is free today. The advice is researched and dated, but confirm anything that costs you money before you commit. Booking links pay us a commission, and never buy a recommendation.
Who you're dealing with
Thaitinerary is a small independent project, not a travel agency or a tour operator. We don't sell flights, hotels, tours or insurance, and we can't book anything on your behalf. We never hold your money. When you book, your contract is with that airline, hotel, ferry operator or platform, under their terms, not ours. The trip information
We research what we publish and we date it, which is why prices carry a "checked [month]" note and the planner labels its costs as estimates rather than quotes. Thailand still moves faster than any website. Ferries stop running, opening hours change, a viewpoint closes for repairs, a monsoon arrives early, and visa rules can change with two weeks' notice.
So: treat a Thaitinerary plan as a well-informed starting point, and confirm the details that cost you money or time with the operator before you commit. Durations, fares and admission prices are estimates. Where we're unsure, we say so on the page, and those hedges are part of the information.
What we can't promise
The site and the planner are provided as they are, without warranties of any kind. We can't promise the site will always be available, that every fact will be current on the day you read it, or that a plan we generate will suit your health, budget, tolerance for heat, or family. You're responsible for your own travel decisions: your bookings, your passport and visa, your vaccinations, your insurance, and your judgement about what's safe for you.
To the fullest extent the law allows, we're not liable for losses that follow from using this site, including missed connections, cancelled bookings, closed attractions, or costs you incur acting on information you found here. If we ever are held liable for something, that liability is limited to what you have actually paid us, which today is nothing.
Booking links and how we're paid
Some links on this site are affiliate links: if you book through one, the partner may pay us a commission at no extra cost to you. Those links are labeled in the sentence where they appear, and they never decide what we recommend. We also tell you when booking direct is the better move. Your email and your saved trips
If you join the waitlist or save a trip, we use your email to send you that itinerary and occasional product updates, and you can unsubscribe at any time. What we collect and who processes it is set out in the privacy policy.
The Companion, when it launches
Nothing on this site takes payment today. A paid add-on called the Companion is planned for late 2026 at $24 per trip, one payment for the trip you are taking and no subscription, and anyone who joined the waitlist before launch gets it free, permanently. When it goes on sale we will publish the purchase terms here first, and it will carry a 7-day refund, no questions asked. Until then, this section is a statement of intent rather than an offer.
Using what's here
Read the guides, build as many plans as you like, print them, save them, and share them with the people you're travelling with. What we ask in return is that you don't scrape the site or bulk-copy our destination data, routes and verified activity write-ups into another product. That research is the thing we actually built. Ordinary quoting with a link back is welcome.
Changes
We'll update these terms as the product grows, and the date at the top will always tell you when. If something material changes, particularly once payments exist, we'll say so on the page rather than quietly editing it.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
